Privacy Policy

VidSnappy ("VidSnappy", "we", "us") operates vidsnappy.com, an AI image and video creation platform. This policy explains what data we collect when you use the service, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep the amount of personal data we collect to what the service actually needs.
Information we collect
- Account data. When you sign up, we store your email address and, if you use Google sign-in, the basic profile fields Google returns (name, email, avatar URL). We store a hashed password only if you register with email and password — never the plaintext.
- Content you provide. The prompts you write and any images you upload to generate from, plus the images and videos the service generates for you. These are tied to your account so you can find them in your library.
- Billing data. If you subscribe, payments are processed by Stripe. We receive your subscription status, plan, and the last four digits and brand of your card — we never see or store your full card number.
- Usage data. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) and privacy-respecting product analytics, used to keep the service reliable and to understand which features are used.
How we use your data
- To create the images and videos you request and show them in your library.
- To operate your account, apply your credit balance, and process subscriptions.
- To send transactional email (verification, receipts, and account notices).
- To secure the service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your uploaded images or private generations to train foundation models.
AI providers
Generation requests are sent to third-party AI model providers to produce your results. Only the input needed for the generation (your prompt and any image you supply) is sent, and it is used to return your result, not to identify you.
Storage and hosting
VidSnappy runs on Cloudflare's global network. Your uploads and generated media are stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage, and account records in a Cloudflare D1 database. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest by our infrastructure providers.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences (such as language). We do not use advertising cookies.
Data retention
We keep your account data and library for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual generations at any time. When you close your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records to meet legal or accounting obligations.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email us at the address below and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.
Children
VidSnappy is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date, and where appropriate we will notify you.
